Okay. So. I kind of can’t update until next week because I’m kind of too busy dealing with the fact that my newspaper seniors are kind of graduating.

I’m the worst and I’m sorry.

Anonymous asked: Where did you go? I've been really enjoying your stuff so far. Hope you haven't abandoned!

Ahh, no, sorry! I was planning on updating daily for a while, but then a bunch of unexpected journalism stuff popped up so this week was packed for me. I’ll definitely update over the weekend, but I’ll hopefully update sooner.

Alright, so, here’s the thing— I’m kind of a horrible person and I spent the vast majority of my day napping and being sickly and watching Doctor Who. So I didn’t get far enough on any of my plans to post something new today, and I know I suck for that, but I am working on yet another AU-type-thing. It’s a Doctor Who crossover from Louis’s point of view, with One Direction as they are now— all famous and what not.

This is a scene that won’t make it in because Louis won’t see it, but I’m posting it as a crappy apology for my crappy updating habits. The actual thing will hopefully be posted tomorrow, along with a new Inklings chapter.

Despite being inside what he’s just been informed is a time-travelling spaceship thing called The Tortoise or something, Harry focuses on eyeing The Doctor’s bowties once he gets over the “It’s bigger on the inside” thing.

The insane man he’s just run off with, though, is looking around it like it’s new to him, which, much like everything else about the past thirty minutes and the immediate future, fascinates Harry.

“Right,” the man says, turning back to Harry and clapping his hands together. “I’m feeling particularly fond of pairs right now, so do me a favor and choose a person.”

“Choose a person?”

“Yes. Any person to ever have lived anywhere at all. The choice is yours.”

“Er, sorry, what?”

The Doctor’s posture slackens a bit, like explanations are a chore he’s particularly tired of.

“Anyone, Harry! Mick’s interesting,” he says, nodding towards Harry’s shirt. “Haven’t seen Joan in a while, though, now that I think about it. Do you like history?”

“Joan? Of Arc?”

“That’s the one! Lovely girl. But, as I said, the choice is yours. Anybody’s fair game.” He pauses. “Except the queen, actually. She’s quite cross with me at the moment and I only narrowly escaped a crown to the eye last time.”

“Which queen?”

“Oh, you know… all of them.”

“Right. Well.”

“Come on, Harry! The Universe awaits us! The sooner you choose someone, the sooner you’ll be among the stars.”

“Aren’t we already among the stars? You know, being on a planet and existing at all.”

The Doctor looks at him like he’s the single most fascinating thing he’s encountered in a while; he laughs.

“You, Mr. Styles, might very well be my new favorite. Indecision notwithstanding.”

“Oh, wait, no, what? I’ve already made my decision, Doctor.”

“Wonderful!” The Doctor turns to the hub of the room, pulling at levers and punching buttons. “Faster than most people, actually. They dwell so much on it sometimes, sifting through all the greats and weighing their options and—”

“Louis.”

“I’m sorry, who? Armstrong?”

“Tomlinson,” he says it like it’s obvious because, well, it is. “Louis Tomlinson.”

“Right. And who’s that?”

Harry doesn’t even know how to explain him, his Louis, so he just grins and gives the Doctor their address.

a/n: holy hell, i am nerdy.

pairing: larry stylinson premise: wizard rock au. yes, really. wordcount: ~2,000.

summary: it takes a while for louis to work up the courage to actively participate in the fandom, so it ends up being the eleventh hour— just months before the last movie— when he makes it to his first wrock show. meeting an impossibly charming boy with impossibly unruly hair and an impossibly appropriate name wasn’t on his agenda for the night, but it happens anyway.

“Hey green eyes, you wanna go lose some time with me?
Oh, my my, I gotta know— what is this feeling?” (x)

becausetheyembraced asked: I just read your Larry fic (or the beginning) and holy shit that was perfection served on my laptop screen. Your writing style is fabulous and very unique (in a good way) and your description of everyone left me with a big smile on my face. And Harry, already falling for Louis. Hard. Gosh it's adorable. I can't believe that it's your first attempt. I mean. What is your secret? Or your talent. Anyway. I will refresh my dash every 5.78 seconds from now on in the hope that you updated. Toodloo. <3

DUDE. Dude. This is my first ever feedback on my first ever Larry fic, and it’s so sweet and you’re wonderful and ahhhh. I can’t. Compliments break my mind.

It’s my first attempt, shipper’s honor. I haven’t really written much fic in general before this, either, just some Klaine drabbles, really. So it’s also my first attempt at a series? Welp.

Thank you so much! I’m going to try really hard to update today. :)

in which claudia makes her first attempt at larry fic and for some inexplicable reason thinks that posting it for everybody in this weird world wide web place to see is something of a good idea so let’s be good sports and play along so as not to damage her fragile sensibilities. she promises that it’s only slow because the prologue has to be and she encourages feedback unless you know her, in which case you will be expected to pretend you never read a word of this.

series title: inklings. chapter title: firsts. wordcount: 2,572 (oops).

premise: high school newspaper au, huzzah! because i’m a journalism nerd too far gone in the world of scholastic publications and also the world of larry stylinson and this plot bunny has been harassing me for weeks.

summary: when harry signed up to join his school’s newspaper, all he wanted was to start working his way towards a life of relatively successful, relatively anonymous writing. then louis tomlinson, editor-in-chief and lifechanger extraordinaire, happens; harry can do nothing to stop it.

pairings: larry stylinson with a tiny bit of ziall because i can.
